This video, taken in early 2023, offers a glimpse into our plantations, showcasing a section of trees maturing for their target harvest between 2030 and 2032. It highlights our core belief: producing the highest grade First European Quality (FEQ) lumber begins with decades of exceptional and constant plantation maintenance. Decades of Care

Our entire plantation undergoes branch trimming twice a year. This meticulous, labor-intensive process results in straight, healthy trunks with a gradual taper, exceptionally clean of knots and scars.

A Foundation of Quality

We start with the highest-grade, carefully selected saplings to ensure minimal deformation and maximize milling yields.

Mature Timbers

We harvest trees at full maturity (often 30+ years old), characterized by long, straight boles. This maturity is key to the teak’s renowned durability and stability.

Our unique semi-dry climate with extended dry seasons naturally cultivates teak with smaller, defined ring growth. This results in smaller dimension lumber renowned for its superior stability, finer grain (Vertical Grain - VG potential), and exceptional beauty, making it ideal for the demanding marine industry and high-end architectural applications.

Puntarenas Province Farms

We also manage plantations in regions with different climatic conditions, like Jalaca, allowing us to cultivate teak with varied characteristics to meet diverse client specifications and project needs.

Our commitment to quality extends through the final stages of order processing and international shipping.

Customer orders are assembled in our covered facility.
Quality control checks include board-by-board tracking.
All export shipments undergo government-monitored Heat Treatment (HT) to meet international phytosanitary requirements.
We maximize container space (up to 33m³ / 14,000 board feet per container) while ensuring product safety, using inflatable airbags and careful stacking techniques to prevent damage during transit.
